Senate commitee approves broad energy bill
Today, the Senate commitee on energy and natural resources deicded on a bill that will allow oil drilling closer to the florida shoreline, start stockpiling barrels of oils as a reserve, and most importantly, will have %15 of total energy as renewable, clean energy, by 2021. This is all good, but it is a far cry away from the administrations claim to %25 of total energy as renewable by 2025. I expect Obama to rectify this situation in the next few days, or retract his promise to the public.
