    Using landfills for Bio Fuels

    Part of the natural process of decomposition of waste is that it produces methane gas. While we have a huge trash problem in this country, it is true that eventually evertything wil decompose. While there is research going into exactly how to collect this methane gas, not enough research is being put forth to produce any kind of results soon. This is another natural resource that’s going to waste thanks to our governments ignorance.

    Oil Consumption in US

    As of today, the US consumes 20 million barrels of oil per day. This take a huge toll on our economy, as we’re importing a staggering amount of that oil at a premium price from other countries. Moving to an alternative energy system would help the economy more than any kind of stimulus package could ever hope to, because we’d be able to keep the cash flow domestically.
